    Technical Knowledge

    • Familiar with the standard codes and industry practices for HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing & drainage systems with automation knowledge.
    • Review/prepare method statements, Pre-commissioning, Start-up, Commissioning Check lists and inspection procedures, inspection test plans for the mentioned disciplines.
    • Ability to prepare T&C and relevant logs, read relevant drawings and verify basic calculations related to respective discipline for new and existing facilities.
    • Prepare walk-down, Pre-commissioning, Start-up and Commissioning Reports and evaluate equipment / system performance deficiencies in coordination with entity responsible for system and record observations during routine walk-down/ respective inspections.
    • Coordination works with Project teams, establish joint verification / validation inspection with concerned authorities.

    Experience

    5 years and above (Mech. Works Site execution with hand on T&C execution experience) on system in medium & large building facilities/ projects.

    Primary Functions

    Perform site inspections, on site material inspection and witness inspections along with concerned approval authorities.

    Preparation of reports / project deliverables.

    Ensure work is performed according to good construction practices.

    Identify, document and report on non-conforming items using B.V. standard procedures and assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions

    Coordinate and perform inspection and test activities in accordance with relevant ITP, ensuring that completed work is conformant to relevant specification and approved drawings and ready for final inspection by consultant

    Submission and follow up on the approval of technical documents with the concerned authorities.

    Verify basic engineering parameters and work completion related to mechanical systems as per approved materials and drawings prior raising any inspection.

    Review Field change documents, Nonconformance reports (if any) during execution works and follow-up their clearances to route T&C works. Review and prepare summary report on status of works

    Familiar with TAB process and NEBB standard.

    Familiar with equipment start-up process

    Preparation of O&M manuals

    Familiar with site handover process

    Technical Expertise

    Ability to evaluate system performance of Mechanical systems as per international standards and industry practices.

    BASIC Awareness of QMS
