    The purpose of this role is to provide strategic recommendations and manage all resources to ensure the Client's marketing needs are met. They are viewed as a trusted advisor to client, understands and articulates client business insights and leverages to contribute ways to move business forward, lead and monitor the day-to-day activities; proactively identify new business building insights and opportunities, manage, motivate and develop their team; work with other departments to develop and execute strategies that will build the Client's business.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an Account Director, overseeing strategic leadership and management of client relationships at a higher level. As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the agency-client partnership and driving business growth. Your responsibilities will include:

    Strategic Leadership and Client Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies that align with clients' business objectives, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Foster in-depth understanding of clients' businesses, markets, and competitors, ensuring a continuous update of this knowledge and guiding the team to do the same.
  • Utilize agency marketing tools to gain insights into client brands and businesses, providing strategic counsel to clients and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Project Ownership and Advanced Campaigns:

  • Take ownership of advanced projects, strategic pitches, campaigns, and creative concepts, demonstratinga high level of creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking.
  • Lead the team in balancing client requirements and execution, managing the dynamic between client demands and internal team demands effectively.
  • Client and Team Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts, external suppliers, and third parties, ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and other departments, fostering a cooperative spirit, contributing to a positive working environment, and ensuring excellence in project delivery.
  • Financial Management and Business Development:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of your client area, including invoicing, supplier management, revenue tracking, and budget monitoring.
  • Spot and capitalize on business opportunities, collaborating with team members and managers to leverage potential growth.
  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and manage the team effectively, providing ongoing feedback, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and creating opportunities for career development.
  • Prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and identify and address challenges promptly, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Industry Awareness and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of marketing trends and innovations, applying this knowledge to enhance client campaigns and ensuring the team is well-informed.
  • Communication and Presentations:

  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation and communication skills, presenting information professionally to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Administrative Excellence:

  • Manage administrative aspects, including internal and external systems, job numbers, timesheet completion, and accurate documentation, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Cultural and Language Awareness:

  • Apply cultural and language awareness across all client campaigns, ensuring translations are appropriate and effective for the region/country and language.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Years of experience: 8+ in account management
  • Languages: English & Arabic are a must
  • Industry knowledge with focus on social media
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Must have strong PowerPoint and Excel skills and be comfortable presenting to a variety of stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Excel in building relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment, combining technical, analytical, and commercial knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Quickly find common ground, solve problems for the benefit of all, and act as a bridge builder within the team.
