    Sihamco Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our Steakhouse and Beef Bar kitchen team. As the Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high culinary standards. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head Chef in developing and executing menus focused on high-quality steak and beef dishes.
    • Supervise and coordinate the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and smooth service.
    • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
    • Monitor portion control and food waste management.
    • Ensure all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed.
    • Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
    • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve culinary skills and knowledge.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a steakhouse or beef-focused restaurant.
    • Passion for steak and beef dishes, with a strong understanding of cooking techniques and flavor profiles.
    • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
    • Excellent culinary and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and maintain strong communication.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
