    Liquidity RiskAssociate

    Chennai,TamilNadu, India - Must be local to Chennai location -Notice Period - 30 days orless.

    • As a LiquidityRisk Associate for DTCC, you will be directly involved in theexecution and ongoing implementation of the liquidity riskmanagement framework, and supporting processes, across multiplebusinesssegments.
    • TheLiquidity Risk Associate will be analyzing, designing, monitoring,and performing liquidity risk management stress scenarios andsupporting the preparation of related communications for seniormanagement and regulatoryaudiences.
    • TheLiquidity Risk Associate, working with a distributed team comprisedof technical and business risk managers will review liquidity riskmetrics and processes to identify emerging risks and areas ofimprovement within the governanceframework.
    • Thisrole uses market and internal data, as well as quantitativetechniques, to performanalyses.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identifymeaningful issues in which controls are not properly designed oroperating
    • Assessthe risk and control environment for process improvements withincoverageareas.
    • Validatethe completion of agreed action plans under the mentorship of asupervisor.
    • Understandsthe financial services industry and risk and control environmentfor coverage areas to identify newrisks.
    • Producepresentation materials and present analysis to senior managementandregulators
    • Designand conduct the independent assessment of liquidity risks and riskmanagementprocesses
    • Participatein the development of the Liquidity Risk Policy and Procedures, andrelated Stress Testing programdocuments
    • Performday-to-day functions contained in the units procedures such asresearching significant increases in margin requirements,supervising trading patterns of member firms, liquidity usage,etc.
    • Provideinsights to the liquidity assumptions and stress testingparameters
    • AssistDTCC colleagues across riskmanagement
    • Conductindependent research projects focused on liquidityrisks
    • Implementimprovements to existing policies and procedures documents forrelevantareas
    • Alignrisk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities tomonitor and mitigaterisk
    • Identifyconcerns and escalate mattersappropriately
    • Participatein system development through project management responsibilities,along with a cross-business unitteam


    Requirements

    1.Minimum of 4 years of relatedexperience


    2.Bachelors degree preferred with Masters or equivalentexperience


    3.Experience in Risk Management, Finance, Treasury, or other controlfunctions within a financial service setting isrequired


    4.Broad understanding of liquidity risk management and stresstesting


    5.Passionate in performing in-depth analysis by utilizing largedataset, Python codes andSQL.


    6.Strong financial market knowledge of fixed income and equitymarkets

    7. Must be aUS Citizen or Green Card holder. (Please indicatewhich)
