    Overview

    The position will be responsibilities include educating members on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders.

    Job Responsibilities

    • To prepare and serve beverage orders according to recipes and service standards.
    • To be fully knowledgeable about all bar/lounge products and recipes.
    • To provide a high standard of quality and efficient/friendly service
    • To prepare mise-en-place and perform side duties.
    • Welcoming members, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
    • Planning drink menus and informing members about new beverages and specials
    • To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all beverage items and prepare garnishes for each drink/beverage accordingly.
    • To monitor operating supplies to reduce spoilage and wastage.
    • To perform cashiering functions, and to ensure that the cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
    • To have ready garnishes for all drinks upon opening of the lounge.
    • Apply the FIFO method (first in, first out) to best utilize the products and reduce wastage.
    • Compliance with the dress code during working hours.
    • Understand and adhere to all CORE's policies including but not limited to CORE Code of Conduct

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • High school/diploma.
    • +1 year of bar or restaurant experience including beverage preparation.
    • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
