    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Analyze market dynamics for Petrochemicals, Agri-Nutrients, Metals, and Specialties.
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis on key products, using historical and forward-looking data.
    • Translate supply/demand, geopolitical tensions, and major events into financial impacts on business.
    • Develop, test, and deploy Economics Research models.
    • Maintain communication with EPM Leadership and CFO on Economics Research issues.
    • Lead Economics Research activities, summarizing macro and microeconomic environments, proposing assumptions, and working with SBUs on analytics.
    • Conduct ad-hoc studies on strategic performance topics and provide insights and improvement recommendations.
    • Source and validate market data for reports.
    • Set macroeconomic assumptions for business planning, including GDP, inflation, and oil prices.
    • Provide product price assumptions for business plan target setting.
    • Source feedstock and utility assumptions for business plan target setting.
    • Collaborate with marketing intelligence for business plan scenarios.
    • Prepare periodic reports on external markets, business environment, and economics.
    • Conduct detailed analysis and research on global, regional, and country economics.
    • Convert geopolitical tensions, regulations, and economic factors into financial measurements.
    • Continuously examine operational processes for improvements in service and cost performance.
    • Develop and implement the enterprise Performance Management Strategy, including Data Analytics and Reporting.
    • Identify opportunities for step improvement in business performance through performance reviews and Business Insights.
    • Manage communications and stakeholders.
    • Maintain a network of internal and external contacts to understand economic challenges and opportunities.

    Minimum requrement:*
