- Sourcing of goods and services as per specified requirement using tactical sourcing method.
- Converting purchase requisition to purchase orders, in line with procure to pay process.
- Executing end-to-end RFX processes and managing queries related to procure to pay process.
- Setting up Contracts /Service Level Agreements with selected suppliers and managing contract register accordingly.
- Identifying savings opportunities and prepare monthly savings report.
- Ensuring that the procurement of goods and services is consistent with the procurement policy and business requirements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders.
- Identifying process improvements and aligning processes with Procurement Policy.
- Performing any other work delegated/assigned within Indirect Procurement and reporting as necessary.
- Minimum Skills required.
- Grade 12.
- Must have a Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or at least NQF level 6 qualification.
- 3-5 years' experience in procurement of industrial commodities in a Manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of vendor on-boarding procedures and material master data related requests.
- Must have proven experience in executing projects as required and support internal customers.
- Must have working knowledge of contracts, RFx and BBBEE.
- Must have SAP R/3 experience; and be computer literate in MS Office suit. and
- Must have driver's license and own reliable transport.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and commercially minded.
- Must have excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines, and
- Must be willing to travel to suppliers.
