TheClinical Coordinator serves a key role in the Hospital Affairsdepartment. This position will provide administrative andoperational support for assigned data systems and program recordsto ensure accuracy completeness and compliance. The ClinicalCoordinator position works collaboratively with collegeadministrators faculty and staff as well as with healthcarefacilities healthcare providers and students to ensure high qualityclinicaloutcomes.

EssentialFunctions:

Managesall aspects of the clinical placement process and ensures effectiveoperation of clinical practicums by organizing supervising andevaluating clinical sites & students. Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to thefollowing:

• Ensuringeffective operation of clinical practicums by organizingsupervising & evaluating clinical sites preceptors&students
  
• Monitoringstudent placements and clinicalrecords.
  
• Maintainingand obtaining contracts mandatory legal documentation (licenseverification liability insurance qualifications of preceptors andpreceptor orientationetc.).
  
• Securingand coordinating clinical placement for all assigned programs forincoming and continuingstudents.
  
• Managingcommunication related to clinical placement
  
• Coordinateregular assessment of students andpreceptors.
  
• Providesonboarding/orientation for preceptors and ensure clear objectives& expectations for students andpreceptors.
  
• Providescomprehensive administrative operational and project support to theProgram Director andfaculty.
  
• Trackingof clinicalplacements
  
• Ensuresefficient and effective student advising during clinicalpracticum.
