- Communicate continuously with the Clients representativesregarding Project Progress and areas of concern.
- Propose inhouse Project Management procedures to complywith Contract requirements and Client procedures.
- Establish and maintain specific project procedures forDesign/Construction Supervision Management (asapplicable).
- Prepare a special report to theProject Director/Manager to investigate any problem related to theScope of Services and recommend solutions to Management.
- Identify priorities and tasks and develop theorganization structure to ensure execution of tasks by providingclear direction on methods time frame and schedule to achieve thestated goals.
- Provide a clear definition ofthe roles and responsibilities of PM staff.
- Attend Executive meetings and progressmeetings.
- Monitor performance to ensure thesuccessful delivery of the Key Performance Indicators and clientcontractual requirements.
- Advise the ProjectManager on any potential variation to the Design/SupervisionConsultant and Contractors scope of work that may generate cost ortime impact and present the Project Managementsassessment.
- Assist the Project Director inleading the Project Management staff in assessing variations andclaims and reporting the technical position of the proposedvariation to the Client.
- Advise the ProjectDirector of any foreseen slippage of progress and proposecorrective actions.
- Review weekly and monthlyreports as presented by the Design/Supervision Consultant(s) andContractor and present to the Client comments on noncompliance andareas of concern and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Design Manager during the detaileddesign stage of the Project to ensure Design Compliance with Clientrequirements and avoid any cost impact.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality EnvironmentalSafety and Occupational Health Policies Manuals and Procedures inplace within Hill International and ensures continued compliancewith these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the linemanager/supervisor.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from anaccredited University.
- Minimum of 10 years ofexperience in comprehensive mega projects Job role includes takingoverall responsibility for mechanical civil engineering on megaprojects.
- Knowledge of systems calculationsequipment application of methodologies materials and computers inhis specialty.
- Knowledge of mechanicalengineering work planning and control methods.
- Previous specialized knowledge of the field and relevantdiscipline practices and disciplines.
- Knowledge of relevant construction practices.
- Knowledge of domain regulatory codes standards designand/or design coordination standards with other relevantengineering disciplines.
- Proficient verbaland written communication skill.
- Knowledge ofengineering procedures design guidelines practice automationapplications business and administrative.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Knowledgeof project design applications and tools with the help of computerprograms (CAD) technology for 2D and 3D design.
