THEOPPORTUNITY

TheEntry-LevelJunior Technical Training Developer / InstructionalDesigneris a short-term contract and a great way to start your career ininstructional

Therole works closely with our senior instructional designers anddevelops course materials in support of our client s technologyimplementation You will create new training documents and modulesas well as re-work existing training materials to facilitatesuccessful learning outcomes and objectives for end

Highlightsof the roleinclude:

• Work withsenior instructional designers and subject matter experts tounderstand content of training from an end user perspective andidentify target material requirements to target audience s trainingneeds
  
• Create supportingmaterial/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games ) andinstructional graphics to visualize how the user will interfacewith the process andsolution
  
• Format PowerPointdocuments
  
• Test trainingexercises
  
• Create and load datainto trainingenvironment
  
• Conduct research andanalysis on learner s content/context and seek out the appropriateresources necessary to support the development and delivery oflearningactivities
  
• Maintain projectdocumentation and coursefolders
  
• Execute a variety ofadministrative, clerical, and technical functions to assist thesenior instructionaldesigners
  

• Youare comfortable quickly engaging with and creating new team Able toadapt and be flexible to the needs of a teammember
  
• Demonstrated abilityto be self-motivated and independent while at the same time a keen,connected teamcontributor
  
• Able to leveragewell-developed organization and planning skills to meet deadlinesunfailingly anddeliver
  
• Comfort withambiguity and shifting priorities as is common on technicalimplementationprojects
  
• High degree ofattention to thedetails
  
• Strong PowerPoint andExcelskills
  
• Exceptional writtenand oral communication skills along with the ability to communicateideas You enjoy designing, developing, writing and refining onlineand printmaterial
  
• Strong aptitude ordemonstrate interest in technology and Experience with authoringskills (Captivate, Photoshop, Illustrator) is anasset
  
• Experience developinginstructional / training materials would be anasset
  
• Degree, diploma orcertificate in technical writing, instructional design, educationaltechnology or similar anasset
  
• Access to your ownsuitable workspace and computer and willingness to work in NorthAmerican time zones other than your own as this role will workremotely for the duration of theproject
