- Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or Fire Protection engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HV or EHV Substation, UG & OHTL Construction and Power Plant (Ideally in design, installation, operation, testing and commissioning and maintenance)
- Familiarity with SEC standards, SEC 5-Star procedures and documentation requirements
- Knowledge of design and engineering techniques and ability to utilize computer programs for design/engineering and other analysis
- Ability of manage multiple assignments and lead tasks
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and good relationship builder
- Attention to detail; a commitment to technical excellence and maintaining the highest standards of document control.
- Understanding of Document Management

Job Description:
CFA is currently recruiting experienced Fire Protection Consultants and Engineers where your expertise is required in managing national Power Plant and Extra High Voltage (EHV) or High Voltage (HV) Substation projects. You will grow your career and play a crucial role in the delivery of national critical infrastructure projects and be exposed to Industry leading design and project management practices.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) requirements in particular for fire fighting, fire suppression, and fire alarm systems and will have the capability to provide technical direction in an important projects execution group that covers a portfolio of national projects with diverse requirements and extensive engineering scope. Additionally, a thorough understanding of technical terms or taxonomy related to Power Plant, Substation, Underground, and OHTL Projects is required.
