Job Overview

One of our renowned clients in the Shipbuilding industry based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking to recruit the Application Developer - IFS, who will be responsible for but not limited to:

Technically resourcing for development of modifications, customization, workflow development, report development in IEE and Aurena.

Key Accountabilities

• Experience in IFS Applications Development (Apps9 and upwards)
• Experience in IFS Aurena Development
• Capable and experienced in providing technical solutions and helping consultants to finalize customer requirements.
• Analyze solutions provided by SMEs and Functional consultants and make sure it is technically feasible.
• Providing time estimates for IFS developments including, client modifications, server modifications, integrations and configurations.
• Report development using IFS Report development tools, Crystal Reports, quick reports, IFS BA reports and Microsoft Power BI.
• Sound knowledge in PLSQL development.
• Create email templates using HTML.
• Creating IFS events and actions
• Creating Customer Fields, Logical Units, Menus and all sorts of configurations in IFS
• Working with Information access layers (IALs)
• Ability to understand the requirements of the users, SMEs and consultants and transforming them to feasible solutions.
• Experience in working with IFS Development tools such as IFS Developer Studio, IFS Developer Desktop, Harvest, IFS Project Explorer etc.
• Unit testing and updating test scripts for implemented customizations.
• Data migration between IFS environments.
• Creating IFS Lobbies and developing new complex lobby elements as per requirements.
• Integration and interfacing of modules within IFS and for 3rd party systems.
• Development and testing for customizations during system upgrades and enhancements.
• Prepare and plan for upgrades and enhancements, including testing plans.
• Experience in working with Implementation, Upgrade and Update installation projects.
• IFS certifications in development track will be an advantage.
• Create customized roles and permission sets
• Troubleshoot application access related issues in IEE and Aurena.
• Ability to write and validate the technical specification and able to create test scripts
• The candidate will be responsible for Technical analysis, designing, reviews, testing an implementation of IFS developments, ranging from small enhancements to large projects
• Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
• Support business implementations by sharing best practice development skills.
• Assist initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
• Work with the Functional exports to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
• Identify and escalates issues and risks within project structure.

Who we are looking for

Education

• BS Software Engineering or Equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 7+ years

Technical Skills

• Modelling Entities and development of Logical Units
• Modelling Projections for integrations and Client Support
• Modelling Client pages
• Modelling Reports

Other Skills

Languages

• Fluent in written and spoken English Language,
