Biolab is a group of medical diagnostic laboratories based in Jordan, providing a full range of laboratory services. Our focus is on delivering timely, accurate results for improved patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Reception and Information Collection: Welcome patients, collect pertinent medical information, and efficiently process patient transactions.
• Sample Collection and Handling: Proficiently collect various patient samples, including blood (phlebotomy), throat swabs, wound swabs, and more.
• Laboratory Testing: Perform a diverse range of determinations across different lab departments, such as Hematology, Chemistry, Endocrine, Microbiology, and more.
• Quality Control: Perform and review quality controls for testing, ensuring results fall within acceptable ranges. Research and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain a log of supplies used in the laboratory, ensuring the department remains well-stocked.
• Specimen Collection Guidance: Provide guidance to clinicians and other healthcare providers on proper methods for specimen collection.
• Shift Coverage: Be prepared to cover for other senior staff members during working shifts and holidays, ensuring the laboratory operates seamlessly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The profession requires very specific qualifications; diploma's degree from an accredited college or university degree with a major in Medical Technology or one of the life sciences.
• Certification/practice license as a Medical Technologist is required.
