• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in urban planning, masterplan development, or a similar role, preferably with a focus on large-scale urban projects.
• Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, land use regulations, and sustainable development practices.
• Lead the development and implementation of the Jeddah Masterplan, in collaboration with government agencies, urban planning firms, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct research and analysis to understand the current state of the city, including demographic trends, infrastructure requirements, and economic factors.
• Engage with government officials, community leaders, and residents to gather input and incorporate their perspectives into the masterplan.
• Define the vision, goals, and objectives of the Jeddah Masterplan, ensuring alignment with the city's long-term development strategies.
• Assess and prioritize infrastructure needs, including transportation, housing, utilities, and public spaces, to support the city's growth and improve quality of life.
• Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to design and implement urban development projects outlined in the masterplan.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, environmental standards, and urban planning best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the masterplan implementation, tracking key performance indicators and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Coordinate with various government departments and agencies to secure funding and resources for masterplan projects.
• Communicate and present the Jeddah Masterplan to stakeholders, including government officials, investors, and the public, to gather support and facilitate its successful implementation.
