- Performs complex installations of mobile and stationary X-ray equipment (Agfa and 3rd party products), from start to finish, including project management.
- Troubleshoots issues on-site and remotely
- Performs preventive/corrective maintenance
- Requires extensive travelling in Middle East and N&C Africa, and to Europe for training
- Assists internal and external customers (e.g. user, dealer engineers, colleagues) on technical questions, procedures, and issues
- Timely escalates, when necessary, technical problems to GSN support, according to the proper procedures, and commercial problems to the sales team.
- Accountability for timely handling of issues, according to Agfa guidelines and best practice procedures
- Accountability for customer satisfaction on project implementation and issue handling
- Accountability for being knowledgeable and up-to-date on latest Agfa Radiology products & solutions
- Accountability for meeting customer requirements within the scope of the SLA

- First to install new equipment
- 2nd line support, assist other (distributor) engineers
- Handling escalation towards GSN global support
- Installation Project skills
- Assess project risks and feasibility, identify dependencies and platform requirements
- Communicate effectively with a diverse set of customers or partners, across multiple disciplines.
- Multiple countries (Middle East + North & Central Africa).
- Bachelor s or master s degree in a technology field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare experience.
- Several years of previous direct field work experience in a technical customer support or field engineer role working with traditional x-ray rooms, digital x-ray equipment and rooms, and computed radiography (CR) systems.
