Job Description:
The Director of National Capability Building & Elite Talent Programs is a strategic leadership role responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive programs aimed at enhancing workforce capabilities across the organization and the larger national framework.
This position requires a visionary leader with a robust understanding of talent management strategies, educational frameworks, and the dynamics of elite performance.
The incumbent will be tasked with fostering collaboration among various stakeholders, including government agencies, educational institutions, and industry leaders, to create innovative pathways that address emerging skills gaps.
Furthermore, the role demands an analytical thinker who can utilize data-driven insights to assess program efficacy and advocate for necessary adjustments, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and national standards.
As a key member of the executive team, this role expects a strong ability to influence and inspire diverse teams, driving a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and development throughout the organization.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in talent development, workforce planning, or organizational capability enhancement.
Proven expertise in creating and managing large-scale training and development programs at the national or organizational level.
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government entities, educational institutions, and industry partners.
Strong analytical skills and experience in utilizing data to inform strategic decision-making processes.Exceptional project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Advanced proficiency in adult learning theories and methodologies, as well as competency-based education frameworks.
A collaborative leadership style, demonstrating the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
A deep understanding of the national workforce landscape and trends, including an awareness of emerging sectors and skills demand.
Experience in policy development, strategic planning, and advocacy related to national capability building initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic planning and execution of national capability building initiatives to enhance workforce skills and competencies in alignment with organizational goals.
Design, implement, and evaluate elite talent programs that attract, develop, and retain high-potential individuals for leadership positions within the organization.
Engage with external stakeholders to identify skills gaps and develop targeted programs that address emerging workforce needs on a national scale.
Utilize performance metrics and evaluation tools to assess the efficacy and impact of capacity-building programs and make evidence-based recommendations for continuous improvement.
Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative thinking and collaboration among team members and stakeholders in the design and delivery of programs.
Oversee the development and implementation of training curricula, ensuring content is aligned with industry standards and best practices in adult education.
Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and training events aimed at enhancing the skills and competencies of the workforce.Serve as a thought leader on national talent development issues, representing the organization at conferences, workshops, and public forums.
Cultivate a strong organizational brand that attracts top-tier talent and positions the organization as a leader in capability building and talent development initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate trends related to talent development and capability building, utilizing insights to inform strategic adjustments to programs and initiatives.
