Dutiesand responsibilities
Responds to all issues in the IT Ticket tracking system in a timelyfashion
Corrects end user issuesand reports issues that cannot be corrected in a timelyfashion
Assists IT personnel inother locations resolving end-userissues
Performs installations andresolves end user support issues within the LAN/WANenvironments
Maintains records,logs and reports of end-user assistance and troubleshootingrequests
Provides hands ontraining, training materials and documentation for IT applicationsand/or equipment to employees whennecessary
Takes ownership ofspecific application(s) and system(s) areas, asassigned
Works with departmentleaders to understand the business need for changes, modificationsor new systems to be implemented
Evaluates interrelationships between systems, identifying howchanges may affect other systems
Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information beingprocessed, stored or accessed
Provides weekly reports to the IT Supervisor regarding workload,open projects and issues Schedules bi-annual auditing of all issuedlaptops
Provides maintenance andoperation of end-user applications including, but not limited to,the email system, backup systems, phone system modifications andnew user account and PC set-ups
Responsible for upholding network security measures set bypolicies
Maintains knowledge ofremote access products
Performsother duties asassigned

Requiredskills/Experience:

MBO+, preferably within IT
Technical support experience, having a sound knowledge of networks,computers, tablets, troubleshooting, repair and configuration,including MS Office and MS
Fluent in the English language, verbally andwritten
Structured way ofPro-active attitude, flexible, Stress resistance and able to workwith deadlines
Being a teamplayer with good communicationskills
