    Job Description

    A Procurement Manager specializing in tools and supplies is sought to optimize procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure resource availability for projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and build partnerships with reliable suppliers to secure quality, price, and timely delivery for essential tools and supplies.
    • Negotiation and Contract Management: Develop and manage supplier contracts to minimize risks and achieve cost savings.

    Collaboration and Communication

    • Project Collaboration: Work with project managers and operations teams to assess requirements and forecast inventory needs, maintain optimal stock levels for smooth project flow.

    Budget Oversight

    • Procurement Budget Management: Monitor spending and find cost-saving opportunities, ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

    Quality Assurance and Data Analysis

    • Quality Checks and Audits: Conduct regular quality checks and audits to maintain high standards, monitor supplier performance based on quality, timely delivery, and compliance.
    • Data Analysis: Maintain detailed records and analyze procurement data to provide insights on trends, costs, and supplier performance, support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications

    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Work Experience: 5+ years of procurement experience in tools, equipment, or supplies.
    • Skill Set: Strong sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills, proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.

    Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
