Job Overview
A leading luxury corporate catering company in KSA is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to secure long-term, high-value contracts across corporate, government, institutional, and large-scale event sectors. The ideal candidate is commercially astute, proactive, and skilled at building strong client relationships, with a proven record of converting opportunities into sustainable revenue in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and actively pursue B2G, B2B, and B2C business opportunities in corporate dining, workforce catering, institutional catering, media, industrial, and government sectors, prioritizing long-term contracts over one-off events
- Conduct market analysis to detect emerging trends, client needs, and competitor activity
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads via networking, referrals, cold outreach, digital channels, and industry engagement
- Lead client meetings, presentations, site visits, and tastings to secure contracts
- Prepare tailored, commercially viable catering proposals aligned with client requirements and operational capabilities
- Drive sales to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets
- Maintain accurate records of pipelines, proposals, and client interactions through CRM systems
- Act as primary contact for clients pre-, during, and post-contract to ensure satisfaction, retention, and renewals
- Strengthen brand presence in the market, nurturing client relationships and generating referrals
- Collaborate with operations, culinary, and events teams to ensure seamless execution of secured business
- Provide market insights, competitor intelligence, and client feedback to inform strategic planning
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with event planners, venues, and key stakeholders
- Support sales leadership and coach junior sales team members, monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven Riyadh market experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Demonstrated success in business development or sales within catering, hospitality, events, or F&B, ideally in a premium or luxury context
- Track record of generating leads, closing high-value contracts, and managing long-term client relationships
- Deep understanding of corporate, institutional, and government catering landscapes
- Established industry network and client relationships advantageous
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and pipelines
- Fluency in English required; Arabic proficiency highly desirable
- Willingness to spend significant time in the market meeting clients and pursuing business opportunities
