This is a remote position.

Candidate to takereport into the current interim CISO at a large US Retail Bankoverseeing the companies information security plan, developing, andcoordinating policy, while ensuring the information securitysystems, training, and education exceed industrystandards.

Key upcomingprojects:Assessmentof networks, servers and applications of newly acquired companies.With the recent completed acquisitions, the current CISO needs aclone of himself to assist with key Company projects as well aswith leading the Assessment and rapidremediation of new acquired companies infrastructure,applications, access andpolicies.

EssentialDuties:

• Protect informationassets and systems against potential threats and vulnerabilitiesthat could impact the confidentiality, integrity and availabilityof information.
  
• Develop an Information Security strategy,including proposed policies and controls to support. Initiate andcreate a roadmap of tactical projects for technical teams to meetlong term goals.
  
• Develop and implement an Information SecurityAwareness Program for executive management and staff to gain buy-infor the program.
  
• Develop and execute framework for assessingrisk across organization that includes compliance risk, technologyrisk, and business risk.
  
• Communicate security priorities withdifferent divisions, department directors, and staff and managementthroughout the company. Facilitatediscussions.
  
• Other duties and responsibilities asassigned.
  

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in safetymanagement, information technology systems, or a similarfield.
  
• At least 10 years experienceleading IT security assessments
  
• At least 2 end to end assessmentsand remediation projects resulting from Company M&Aactivities
  
• Excellent knowledge of state andfederal information securitylaws.
  
• Proven proficiency in developingphysical and digital security protocols andprocedures.
  
• Excellent communication andinterpersonalskills.
  
• Exceptional managerial skills andthe ability to lead ateam.
  
• Proficiency in informationmanagement systems and knowledge ofcybersecurity.
  
• Ability to research and stay upto date with security trends, as well as changing government andstate law
