    We are seeking a talented and creative Service Designer to join our team. As a Service Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing end-to-end services that deliver exceptional experiences for our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to envision, design, and implement innovative service solutions. The key output of this three-month project will be experience blue prints for the platform we are building. This role will be based in the Middle East with fortnightly travel to South Africa paid for by the project.

    Requirements
    • Conduct research, analyze data, and gather insights to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points across various touchpoints in the service ecosystem.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, marketing, and operations teams, to define and shape service strategies and goals.
    • Develop service blueprints, user journey maps, and personas to visualize and communicate service concepts and improvements.
    • Lead workshops, ideation sessions, and co-creation activities to generate innovative service ideas and concepts.
    • Design and prototype service experiences, processes, and touchpoints using design thinking methodologies.
    • Work closely with stakeholders and teams to implement and test service solutions, iterating based on user feedback and business requirements.
    • Establish and maintain service design principles, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across services.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Service Design, Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.
    • 5-7 years of experience as a Service Designer, UX Designer, or in a similar role, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
    • Experience in the airline or retail industry is essential
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
    • Strong understanding of service design methodologies, including user research, journey mapping, and prototyping.
    • Experience in facilitating workshops, conducting user research, and applying design thinking techniques.
