• Serveas a construction inspector to ensurecompliance
  
• Investigatefieldproblems
  
• Coordinate/performfield work associated with infrastructureprojects
  
• Responsiblefor other administrative duties asneeded
  
• Providetechnical expertise to a variety ofagencies
  
• Prepareestimates/feasibilitystudies
  
• Prepare visualpresentations/reports to present at City Council and PlanningCommissionmeetings
  
• Coordinatepublic works activities with other City departments, divisions,sections and outsideagencies
  
• Secureappropriate grants foragencies
  
• Perform dutiesrelated to NPDES compliance for agencies
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university with a focus onCivil Engineeringcoursework
  
• 5years of professional design, plan review and projectadministration experience (public agency settingpreferred)
  
• PELicensepreferred
  
• PMPCertificationpreferred
  
• Knowledgeof civil engineering principles, practices andmethods
  
• Experiencewith engineering softwareapplications
  
• Experiencewith the materials, methods and equipment used in the constructionof public worksprojects
