    Companyfrom the Oil & Gas industry is looking for aCostControllerforan onshore project located in Papua,Indonesia.

    MISSION:

    Establish and manage a cost control system in order to support thePM decision-making process and allow him to completethe projectwithin the approvedbudget

    Ensure any deviation from budget is promptly spotted and analysed,final impact is estimated and the effect of correctiveactions taken ismonitored

    Create a cost awareness atmosphere among projectteam

    Satisfy the Operating Company and Corporate requirements for thecost control reporting, cooperating with the properInterfaces


    TASKS:

    Atproject initialphase:

    Aftercontract award, ensure the implementation of the Cost ControlSystem, elaborating the consolidated Cost Breakdown Structureaccording to the relevant procedure, reviewing theprocurement/accountin g system adopted in each OperatingCompanies/Branches involved into the project, and verifying theapplication of the CBS and the costtraceability

    Issue the Project Cost Control Procedure, Cost Coding Manual andRisk Managemen t Plan, for the Project Control Managerverification, according to standards and contract specification andconfigure the Cost Breakdown Structure to monitor procurement andaccountingactivities

    If not provided during the commercial phase, split the CommercialBudget according to the intercompany scheme, contract and workschedule, in order to report revenues/costs by entity, currencies,and main cost accounts and prepare the cash-flow bycurrency

    Coordinate the risk managment activities startup organizing thefirst brainstorming and the qualitative / quantitative assessmentof the identified risks andopportunities

    Carry out the Montecarlo Analysis. During the project executionphase:

    ensure the Cost Control System works effectively and cost status issoundly assessed andreported

    monitor activity progress and the relevant earned value, as well asthe value of work done against the invoices received, determiningthe monthly accruals (to have accounts in line with worksprogress)

    Support the Project during the contract changes/claims processproviding the cost impact analysis, and keep updated thecost/revenues forecast relevant to intercompanyservices

    Analyse committed costs and activities to-date, review the estimateto complete, isolating any deviation from bas elines or adversetrend and warn the PM on time to take corrective actions in orderto preventoverruns

    Maintain the risk management process organizing periodic meetingsand verifying the risk ownersfeedback

    Issue the project and company reporting. At projectclosure

    Support the Project Control Manager in the preparation of theProject close-out Report and the costfeed-back data to ProjectControl and CommercialDepartments
