    This is an exciting role for a Nuclear Operations Specialist OR Plant Management Specialist to support and develop the Civil Nuclear Power industry in Saudi Arabia – including.
    - delivering a new fleet PWR reactors and developing a skilled workforce.
    - The program for the 1st Large Nuclear Power Plant Project is well advanced - including site selection, securing the Nuclear Site License, and procuring the EPC contractor.
    - The role is based in Riyadh for the first 4 years.

    Here's What You'll Need:

    Skills and Experience.
    - Civil Nuclear power plant operations management experience including:
    o Overall plant leadership.
    o Control room reactor / plant operations.
    o Operational support - including Nuclear Performance Improvement, training, plant maintenance and long-term asset management.
    o Outage management.
    o Plant commissioning (or re-start).
    - Leading and managing teams in an operational environment to the highest standards of nuclear safety and quality.
    - Developing and implementing policy, processes & procedures for O&M.
    - Driving Continuous improvement and best practice - including NPI and CAP.
    - Knowledge of international best practice for nuclear operations. I.e., From IAEA, WANO, INPO etc.

    As the Operations specialist you will support the client to:
    - Support the assessment of the BIDs for the New PWR Large Nuclear Power Plants, including the
    operability of the plant designs proposed by the vendors, together with the vendors commissioning, and operational proposals (for the first two fuel cycles of the new plants).
    - Develop their in-house nuclear operations capabilities (people, processes & systems). Including: strong leadership, people skills & demonstratable teamwork.
    - Work with the plant vendor (once appointed) to review the plant design proposals and O&M
    Approach.
    · Including developing protocols, processes & procedures - with the client & plant vendor.
    · Support our Licensing Team with the Nuclear Regulator on Operational Issues, and interface with IAEA and WANO.

    Qualifications
    - 20 years nuclear experience as a Site Director or a plant manager
    - Degree Educated with and Engineering disciple or equivalent.
