    Job Summary

    The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for coordinating all recruitment activities of the NMC & assigned Business Unit; liaising with relevant Department Heads and local recruiting agents.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    · Ensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the NMC hospitals and clinics.

    • Observes and implements established policies, standards, regulations and provision of the Business Unit
    • Coordinates local recruitment activities of the NMC / assigned Business Unit, under the direction of the Recruitment Manager following established policies and procedures of the department which includes:

    o Job Advertising

    o CVs Gathering & Screening

    o Applicant's Evaluation

    o Interview Scheduling

    o Preparation of Provisional Offer of Employment (POE)

    o Collects Local Release Letter & Passport from the Candidate and pursue with Govt Relations Manager for the Sponsorship Transfer Processing

    o Preparation of Joining Notice

    o Endorsing the candidate to Personnel Section

    o Orientation of newly hired staff

    · Processes all local recruitment transactions and Recruitment Request Form (RRFs), including entering RRF information into the database, preparing folders and appropriate filing of documents.

    · Corresponds through email, fax and other means with local recruiting agents, Institute of Public Administration, Chamber of Commerce and others as instructed by the Recruitment Manager and Director of Human Resources.

    · Ensures accurate and timely provision of recruitment criteria and salary / benefit information; monitors timeliness and response.

    · Ensures that applicant files are created and maintained for a six month period that access to these files is limited to authorized persons by following the confidentiality as per hospital policy.

    · Ensures the timely, responsive and accurate processing of all local recruitment transactions.

    · Performs additional tasks and duties as assigned by Superiors.

    Liaises with:

    · Government Relations Section, Travel Agent, Customs, National carrier, Department Head.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    · Required

    Two (2) years Diploma in Management (Certificate in Human Resource Management is preferred).

    · Desirable

    B.A. or Diploma in Human Resources Management or Administration, Public Administration or Management.

    Experience:

    · Required

    Two (2) years post graduate experience in local and international recruitment within a large health care organization.

    General

    • Knowledgeable of management techniques, with good inter-personal and problem solving skills, knowledge in recruitment activities, interview techniques/skills, fluency in English.
    • Familiar with Job Offers, Visas/Working permits and Contracts
    • Working knowledge of computer systems.
