    Main Responsibilities

    • Maintain and increase market share and profitability
    • Professional and highly motivated to maintain and increase market share and profitability for Rock Drilling Tools.
    • Endeavour to enlist new customers.
    • Supporting the companies policies and procedures
    • Assist with collection of outstanding monies due from sales.
    • Ensure correct forecast per warehouse is established.
    • Ordering of correct products for weekly stock replenishing.
    • Follow up on new orders, deliveries, and back orders.
    • Regular update of receipts and stock issues. Documentation.
    • Reconciling of stock in warehouse – monthly verification.
    • Managing and reconciling of stock in warehouse.
    • Reconciling of figures for invoicing.
    • Monthly update of PDC Statistics.
    • Present realistic target for monthly/annual sales for approval.
    • Intimate knowledge of Market share in area.
    • Monthly reporting to product managers of developments in area.
    • Ensuring continuous customer support regarding product performance.
    • Continuous follow-up and after sales service
    • Correct pricing structures to be applied outright / contract
    • Quotations to customers to be approved by management.
    • Product presentations to new and existing customers to promote product.
    • Liaison with customer on new products and designs.
    • All new products or design change requests to be forwarded to Product Manager.
    • Liaise with customers regarding product related queries. claims / non-performance

    Required Skills and Capabilities

    • Extensive product knowledge on all rock drilling tools product lines.
    • Knowledge of surface mining applications
    • Ability to achieve set targets/goals.
    • Knowledge of correct applications of products.
    • Require medical fitness certificates.
    • Ability to write detailed and comprehensive reports monthly
    • Able to work without supervision and be a team player.
    • Good communication skills and customer focused, and be presentable on all levels.
    • Computer Literacy
    • Valid drivers license.

    Education and experience requirements

    • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
    • Experience in the mining industry
    • Tertiary qualification in business management and/or sales and marketing
