Draftsman

Experience – 2+

ITI/Diploma (Auto Cadis must)

We are looking for a self-motivated draftsmanwho can work
alongside a number of specialists at ourcompany. The draftsman will form part
of amultidisciplinary engineering team, and should be comfortableworking at
an adjustable table as well as a computerterminal. You will usually work at
our offices, but willat times need to fulfill travel requirements andwork
on-site.

Preparing both roughsketches and detailed work with Auto CADD
systems.Performing calculations for materials and weightlimitations.
Communicating with architects and engineers,and incorporating knowledge gained
into drawings.Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside theengineering
team.

To be successful as adraftsman, you should stay up-to-date
with new draftingsoftware and advancements. An exceptional draftsmanwill
demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and havesound knowledge of the
discipline they draft for.

Draftsman
Responsibilities:

· Followingspecifications and calculations to
create varioustechnical drawings.

·Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work
with CADDsystems.

· Performingcalculations for materials and weight
limitations.

· Communicating witharchitects and engineers, and
incorporating knowledgegained into drawings.

·Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside
theengineering team.

·Ensuring final designs are compliant with
buildingregulations.

·Identifying and communicating potential design
problems tothe rest of the team.

·Draftsman Requirements:

· Bachelor of Sciencein engineering or
architecture.

· Degree from atechnical college also acceptable.

· Experience incomputer-aided design and drafting
(CADD).

· Ability to drawmanually favorable, but not
essential.

· Ability to work wellin a team and on your own.

· Ability to respondwell to criticism and
maintain a positive attitude.
