    Job Summary

    We areseeking a Financial Accounting Consolidation Specialist to join theControllers organization within the Finance Strategy &Development business line in This Company. The Controllersorganization acts as This Companys primary representative forfinancial and income tax reporting to management and to the SaudiArabian government producing the Companys consolidated financialstatements subsidiaries financial statements and other managementreports. Additionally the organization maintains the CompanysGeneral Ledger Fixed Asset records and supporting documents whilealso monitoring payments and calculating withholding taxes relatedto nonresident vendors. The Controller also provides accounting andadvisory services related to This Companys interests.

    You will possess significant relevant financialconsolidation experience within a variety of industries; howeversignificant experience within the energy industry is desirable. Youwill have the ability to establish personal credibility with bothinternal and external clients demonstrate excellent interpersonalskills and work well with fellow team members while planningprioritizing and coordinating their workload to ensure meetingcritical deadlines. You will be able to add value by deliveringhigh quality work and be able to proactively overcome issues andchallenges to ensure timely delivery.

    You shouldhave demonstrated financial analytical skills that include theability to evaluate both industry and individual companyinformation and comprehend advanced accounting topics. You must beable to work with minimal supervision possess good projectmanagement skills and be able to offer logical and innovativesolutions to complex issues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Consolidate financial data from the Companysubsidiaries and joint venture entities.
    • Conduct financial statement review analysis andpreparation.
    • Research accounting literature toaddress current issues in accounting and financialreporting.
    • Perform analysis makerecommendations and prepare responses on consolidationmatters.
    • Prepare confidential and technicalfinancial reports and forecasts.
    • Coordinatewith auditors and offer full support for audit/review ofconsolidated financial statements.
    • Offerfinancial expertise to subsidiaries joint ventures or within theCompany.
    • Provide support for Joint Venture andM&A integration from a financial statementperspective.
    • Offer ad hoc financial expertiseas needed.

    Requirements:

    • This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
    • Hold a bachelors degreein accounting or a related field; a graduate degree isdesirable.
    • Possess relevant advancedprofessional competencies demonstrated by certifications such asCPA CA ACCA or CMA.
    • Hold accountingfocusedprofessional licenses and engage in continuing professionaleducation.
    • Have a minimum of ten years ofrelevant experience in industries such as financial statementconsolidation financial analysis preparation accounting researchmergers and acquisitions taxation process/change management andstrategy/management consulting.
    • Specificoperational experience in energyrelated activities infrastructureutilities (public and/or private) joint ventures and subsidiariesgovernment sector nonprofits and public administration isdesirable.
    • Specific corporate businessintegration experience including startup experience isdesirable.
    • Extensive knowledge of accountingpolicies and procedures established pursuant to InternationalFinancial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Strongunderstanding of financial statements prepared within the IFRSframework.
    • Extensive knowledge of accountingpolicies and procedures in the oil and gas industry.
    • Ability to conduct research on IFRS or This Companyaccounting/financial reporting matters.
    • Ability to prepare preliminary findings analyzealternative approaches and recommend preferred actions for ThisCompany.
    • Demonstrated capability to makepresentations or lead meetings including at the executivelevel.
    • Leadership skills aredesirable.
    • Proficiency in both oral andwritten English.
    • Experience with SAP orequivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highlydesirable.
