Follow all relevant policies processes standard operating procedures and instructions ensure work carried out in controlled consistent manner Promote implementation adherence relevant policies processes operating procedures others Contribute identification opportunities continuous improvement systems processes practices taking leading practices improvement department processes cost reduction productivity improvement Apply safety quality environmental management policies procedures controls ensure safety legislative compliance delivery high-quality service responsible environmental attitude Review analyze medical records assign accurate complete diagnosis procedure codes using MOH-approved coding systems ICD-10-AM/ICD-11 Ensure timely coding inpatient discharges day surgery outpatient encounters meet billing deadlines Identify missing incomplete ambiguous documentation impacts coding accuracy Query physicians clinical staff professionally clarify documentation gaps Collaborate Clinical Documentation Improvement CDI staff support accurate record capture Perform self-checks ensure coding accuracy consistency compliance coding rules Assist Coding Manager conducting internal auditing peer reviews Support implementation audit recommendations corrective actions any errors Coordinate with billing revenue cycle teams address any denials claim rejections Provide input help resolve discrepancies clean claims submission Guide junior coders trainees Share expertise complex cases updates difficult scenarios Participate workshops knowledge-sharing sessions Stay updated changes MOH rules classification reimbursement policies Attend internal external training maintain certification enhance skills Job Qualifications Requirements years progressive experience hospital setting proven handling complex inpatient outpatient Strong knowledge Saudi data privacy requirements CBAHI/JCI frameworks In-depth experience DRG grouping clinical documentation practices Familiarity EMR software Bachelor degree Healthcare Administration Quality Management related healthcare field Professional certification preferred Valid registration Commission Health Specialties SCFHS Deep technical expertise standards requirements compliance Effective problem-solving analytical abilities detect trends recommend solutions Strong written verbal communication liaise clinical teams coders executives High level of integrity respect patient confidentiality Ability design deliver training programs Proficiency Microsoft Office EMR platforms audit tools Fluent Arabic working proficiency English technical regulatory communication Skills
