Hold a bachelor's degree in civilengineering, road and bridge engineering, or a relatedfield.
Deep knowledge of road design, technical standardsand local and international regulations related to construction andmaintenance.
Ability to read and interpret engineeringdrawings and road plans.
Ability to analyze geotechnicaldata and use it in road design and planning.
Goodcommunication skills and the ability to deal with clients,contractors and government agencies.
Ability to preparetechnical reports and reviews to evaluate the quality of roaddesigns and projects.
Knowledge of proper constructionmethods and the use of correct building materials in constructingand maintaining roads.
Adherence to occupational safetyand health standards at the work site.
