Job summary
The position is responsible to make sure the products and processes meet internal standards customer expectations and regulatory requirements Working typically within a manufacturing engineering or production environment collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including production design supply chain and customer service The role involves both office-based analysis and on-site inspections and testing Understanding of quality control methodologies like Six Sigma ISO standards lean manufacturing root cause analysis corrective preventive actions CAPA and the use of statistical tools Attention to detail problem-solving skills communication are vital to uphold quality standards drive continuous improvement Maintaining compliance with regulatory industry standards e.g., ISO 9001 Defect rate PPM parts per million Customer complaint reduction Audit scores internal external Cost of Poor Quality COPQ Works closely with manufacturing R D supply chain customer service teams Usually reports to the Quality Manager or Plant Manager Achieving defect free incoming parts ECN implementation at supplier end through proper notification New parts approval through proper evaluation testing In-process trouble shooting related to parts problem Training of inspector on inspection equipment To achieve the SMART target set for supplier quality team Facilitate safe working environment for people implement H S guidelines regulations Undertake any other duties responsibilities as required instructed maintain improve efficiency quality service provided by company Optimizing inspection levels insure most economic cost poor quality Work closely L E group supplier Quality Logistics Purchasing team Bachelor s in electrical engineering understand analysing all kinds of Engineering drawings geometric dimensioning symbol Well knowledge basic office software i.e., Outlook Word Excel data analysing Power point etc Minimum years experience relevant skills detailed above Usage testing measurement analysing drawings Raising ECRs support production resolve day today issues without failures MIG TIG Welding Teamwork Accountability Ability work people different nationalities Flexible approaching improvise dynamic situations Amicable personality make long term relations internal external stakeholders Self-starter takes initiative additional responsibilities challenges Work independently minimal supervision Good team player good communication skill ready learn attitude Comply company policies procedures maintain confidentiality information relating company business staffوصف الوظيفة
