Bettering Our Lives

We, human beings, get overwhelmed amid crisis to such a magnitude that we only see flipping of chaos, one after another, but, rarely realize changes that can be for bettering our lives.

Presumably, when we all lose equilibrium in our lives we experience something erroneous and turmoil in our lives and everywhere. Now, what’s that equilibrium? Well, it could be awareness, stability, sensibility, moderation, pensive reflections or even spirituality. Oftentimes, calamities and chaos are the outcomes of what we toil in negligence, exceed the legitimate limits, misconstrue about our own existence and take up imbalanced lifestyles.

When a calamity strikes on some people at some place, we, away from them, are like sheer observers and take no worthwhile lesson. 

But, that same calamity when reaches us we begin to misinterpret the happenings, lose needed patience and fall in despair. We forget to ponder that a little proper consciousness, a dose of carefulness and timely changes in our perceptions and practices can bring in contentment and well-being.

In fact, when a calamity becomes inconceivable, we come across different definitions, equivocal explanations and varying conclusions. What matters most is understanding calamities in its truest terms and reciprocating in manners that are far reliable, safe and suitable.

Most of our miseries are due to mistaken and sinful pronouncements of our unbridled tongues. Imagine the state of our lives when we disbelieve in truths and embrace wrong ways. Imagine the meanness of our intentions when we mingle falsities into factual information. Imagine the hardness of our hearts when we exceed in evils and give no heed to virtues. Imagine the silliness of our minds when we get involved in insignificant activities instead of purposeful living. 

Even if a person gains immense power and wealth, but nothing can withstand when the stroke of death comes on its appointed time. It’s strange that we, without forethought, lose our health for the sake of worldliness and then lose our sensibility for amassing wealth.

Shouldn’t we, human beings, bring in moderation and modesty in our lives and shun mistaken affairs? Certainly, the beauty of life is in simplicities and seriousness, and not in mindlessness, materialism and melancholies.

Even if we reach towering heights in fame, become excessively wealthy or live in luxuries, we remain helpless and we cannot strengthen our lives without the mercy from the Almighty Lord and His succor.
