Of course, who’ll deny the countless benefits of social media? But then, to blemish social media in totality because of users’ reckless addiction is plain hypocrisy.

Imagine the boon of technology that has transformed us into technocrats. Life has become so entertaining, exciting and interesting with the many benefits of Smartphones. All you need is scanty operational awareness and you can witness magic on your mobile screens by swiping your finger.

With manifold applications, there’s a tremendous treasure…if nothing’s available, then you have Googling genie. It’s so simple to become ‘jack of all’ and you needn’t worry if you aren’t ‘master of none’.

In fact, so alluring are the uses of social media that we’ve fallen in love with its features and presence. Like breathing is pivotal to keep our lives on-the-go, we feel the need of smartphones essential to cheer up our moods and attitudes. Like our pulsating hearts, we are so mindful about charging our phones that anytime we see it on ‘low battery’, we get worried. Funny, isn’t that?

If you’re an ally of the world and ascetic to your own family, then that’s total absurdity. Okay, agreed that you are a prolific reporter on the Facebook, know how to chirp closely on the Twitter or relish sweeping engagement on WhatsApp, but that doesn’t mean that you keep applying these tools of social media in an irrational, excessive limits and sooner or later become an ‘incurable addict’.

With the widespread usage of WhatsApp, it looks as if we are at a crowded junction…and we all like a colony of deaf-and-dumb people have forgot the art of verbal communication. Resembling a dumb person, an addicted WhatsApp user is always seen drooping and dipped into mobile, immensely busy with eyes glued to glossy screens…and following ticking temptations and unbridled decisions, every user keeps spreading messages without checking its authenticity and gravity.

That’s so hilarious…when someone keeps forwarding trivial tidbits of information, scary stories, vain videos, comical cartoons, jerking jokes…as if in a day’s time, there are realities and nuisance and tragedies as well as comedies!

Perhaps, the greatest aspect of social media is that we’re embedding our ties with others in a virtual world…we express ourselves, we converse, we network and become known to each other.

But what’s the use when we lose our human identity, and by our berserk, insensible ways we become digital beings?

Indeed, life is an ordeal, a proportionate journey and we are blessed with this worldly span of time once. If we misuse our lives, we are sheer losers. That’s the truth!

Let’s realize the upright manner of living, the legitimate joys for a blissful family life and to be conscious enough to chisel our lives with beauteous precepts and commitments.
