Job Summary
Raytheon's Program Cost Control team is looking for a Senior Program Cost Specialist. In this multi-functional role interacting with several responsibilities across multiple functions.

You will be specifically providing extensive and accurate financial analysis and training across several programs, generation, and analysis of cost data, and supporting stakeholders and program teams as required.

  • KSA, reporting into the Senior Finance Manager._

Responsibilities to Anticipate

  • Training to other team members on key processes and desk instructions inherit to the current programs.
  • Perform adhoc analysis, data integrity checks and validations related to program financials.
  • Research and analyze historical data to support current and future work scope.
  • Support supply chain management in financial controls of subcontracts and material procurement forecasting.
  • Provide functional guidance with internal reporting to support monthly program reviews.
  • Assist in monitoring costs and personnel ensuring that actual cost is within budgets and charged to the correct end goals.
  • Conduct periodically labor audits to ensure proper charging to end cost goals.
  • Preparation of work authorization documents, creation, and maintenance of charge numbers
  • Assist in the development of quarterly EACs analysis / assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete data.
  • Monitor cash flow and forecasting. Provide trend analysis to support quarterly forecasting.
  • Ability to facilitate results and process improvements.
  • Work independently under limited supervision. Ability to contribute to the effective completion of major projects or processes.
  • Support global supply chain in the timely and accurate development and processing on purchase order commitments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Ability to turn complex financial data into key stakeholder information, including relevant recommendations that align to the business's strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Hyperion Planning/Hyperion Financial Management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites when needed.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  • Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and the various IPT stakeholders such as Program Management, Operations, Contracts, Engineering or Business Development, providing analysis and guidance to support key team members to take best business choice.

  • Demonstrated ability to actively facilitate resolution on critical business and key issues.
