Through my career which spans for over five years, I taught English as a second language to adults, English for academic purposes, test preparation courses, and specialized linguistic topics such as phonetics and syntax at college level. I worked for several institutions in different locations, used different curricular materials including Cambridge's Interchange and Touchstone. I even designed customized materials for several classes where a specific field of interest was being targeted. I did this when I worked with professionals in the legal and industrial fields upon their request for their purposes. I worked with an educational institution which operated inside Ain Shams university in Cairo to work with students and employees on improving their English language both for academic purposes and for the job market. For my educational background in the field of TESOL, I studied with Professor Michael Fields in the University of Delaware in the US. This was a very enriching experience which gave me a good foundation in the practice and its literature.
