Assumed the responsibilities of Project Controls for Jeddah Central Development Program. Responsibilities include Leading scheduling, cost, estimating and contracting teams for the following:

  • Issuing Scheduling, cost & estimating manuals/procedures 
  • Integrating Master Schedule for different program packages 
  • Issuing and updating progress reports (Weekly & Monthly)
  • Updating and analyzing schedule critical path 
  • Break down the budget 
  • Performing schedule risk analysis
  • Implement cost control system for each package
  • Identify and follow up the contactor’s deliverables

During my assignment with Saudi Aramco’ Joint-Venture projects support division, I supported the following projects

  • Crude Oil To Chemical Program (Petrochemicals - Engineering Phase - UK)

  • Fadhli Co-generation Projects (Power generation - EPC Phase - Saudi Arabia)

  • The Fine Chemicals & Raw material Project (Huajin Aramco Petrochemical) (Engineering Phase - China)
  • SAMREF residue upgrade Project (Refining - Engineering Phase – Saudi Arabia)
  • Abqaiq & Khurais restoration Projects (Oil - EPC Phase – Saudi Arabia)
  • South Korea Refinery - Residue Upgrading Complex (RUC) & Olefin Downstream Complex (ODC) Project (Refining - EPC Phase – South Korea)

This support included:

  • Establishing and reviewing systems & sub-systems pre-commissioning schedule
  • Performing integration of Pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup schedules
  • Issuing project progress reports (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)
  • Consolidation and analysis of project dashboard and quantities data
  • Updating project schedules
  • Support risk analysis & sensitivity analysis 
  • Project assurance review for downstream projects (Identify gaps, risk and opportunities, provide recommendation / consultation & independent assessment in all project phases)

Assumed the responsibilities of Project Planning and Scheduling Head for the SADARA Petrochemical Program. Responsibilities included:

  • Integrating and updating Pre-commissioning and Commissioning schedule for different program assets 
  • Issuing and updating progress reports (Daily, Weekly & Monthly)
  • Analyzing and control of achieved construction quantities against planned
  • Updating and analyzing schedule critical path (monthly)
  • Issuing program final closeout report

  • Arabia & Hasbah platform, pipelines, cables hookups & pre-commissioning - Wasit project (On/Offshore project) Abu Dhabi office & site on KSA (Jan. 2012 to Sep. 2012)
  • Manifa Water injection facilities & utilities project Site on KSA (Oct. 2009 to Dec. 2011)
  • Khurais Water injection facilities & utilities project Head office in Italy & site on KSA (Oct. 2006 to Sep. 2009)

During my employment with Techint Cimimontubi, I assumed multiple roles starting with cost controller then project planner and ultimately promoted to Project Controls Manager supporting the following projects:

  • Port said power station - Two Units 2x340MW turbines and BOP Contracts 
  • Alexandria maximization of gas oil production plant – AMOC - Mechanical Contract (10,000 tons of piping and erection different types of equipment, insulation and painting) 
  • Alexandria Petrochemical plant - SIDPIC - Erection of 7 Cracking heaters Contract
  • Sidi krir power station & Ayoun mousa power station - 2 boilers and BOP Contract each
  • El-Arish 2x30 MW Power Stations - Two Turbines and BOP Contracts
  • Mahmoudia & Damanhour Two Combine cycle power stations 4x65 Mw.
