Issa Althaher

To shortly introduce myself, my name is Issa Althaher and I have done my bachelor’s in civil engineering from the Faculty of Engineering Technology, Amman, Jordan in June 2017. After that, I started my career as site engineer in Engineering Technicality Contracting Company (ETCC) at Dead Sea Cornice project in Jordan from July 2017 to July 2018. After this project, I gained more experience in Al Mimaria Contracting Company at Um Kulthoum School project in Amman, Jordan from august 2018 to August 2020. I want to continue my career working on projects that directly improve the quality of life for communities in need. 

1)Al Mimaria Contracting Company - Amman, Jordan 

Site Engineer at Um Kulthoum school project, Amman-Jordan, from August 2018 to August 2020

Responsibilities:

• Follow-up the construction, architectural, surveying and civil works.
• Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Ensure that all the works get done properly on site and in accordance with the approved shop drawings, method of statement, inspection test plan and required specification.
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Write daily, weekly, and monthly work progress reports and any other required paperwork to the head department.
• Manage and record the manpower’s timesheet.
• Implementation of all finishing works (plastering, painting, tiling, false ceiling, ….).

2)Engineering Technicality Contracting Company  – Amman, Jordan 

Site Engineer at the Dead Sea corniche project, Dead Sea – Jordan, from July 2017 to July 2018

Responsibilities:

• Managing parts of construction projects.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
• Select request and follow up on the site material deliveries (site requisitions/purchase orders).
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
• Implementation of all finishing works (plastering, painting, tiling, false ceiling, ….).
