● Day to day plant operation, ensuring smooth, safe and efficient performance.
● Carry out all electrical operations of breakers, isolation, energization of GSUT, CAT,
UAT, 13.8KV, 4.16KV, 480V, 230 AC UPS & 120 DC UPS PANELS &BUS BARS etc.
● Ensure and follow up safe unit shut down and start up as per procedure.
● Responsible of Equipment are properly isolated, and tagged as per standard procedures
● Perform unit synchronization and assist electrical maintenance in trouble shooting to carry
out all isolation for permit to work.
● Ensure all activities comply with SEC, LOTO procedure to prevent accidents free
operation.
● Ensure and conduct unit routine activities as per check list and reading sheet filled as per
schedule.
● Monitor the electrical status of the plant, enter periodic reading on log sheet, and
summarize all activities and events that took place during shift into log book as well as
in GOIS.
● Monitor the electrical status of the plant in the shift.
● Execute all electricalsystem isolation & energization activities as per plan.
● Provide full support for routine & urgent switching or isolation/energization and keep the
lead ESO updated.
● PerformEDG weekly off load test & monthly onload test.
● Any abnormal to immediate notify shift in charge & managers & rise maintenance
notification, follow up the status raise emergency JON & follow.

Handle emergency situations in accordance with SEC standard procedure and instruction.
● Efficiently monitor power system operating condition, established reporting system (i.e.
ops log book) to document plant/facility operating parameters and maintenance activities.
● Performother job-related duties asrequested by operation manager or shift incharge.

● DSR entry of power generation as per tariff meter, fuel consumption, water consumption,
auxiliary consumption & updating in SAP system
● Daily check list of electrical building like common station, unit electrical building &
Transformers etc.
● To assist the field operator in carrying out routine process plant field operating duties and
monitoring the units in accordance with fixed routines, standard procedures and shift to
shift instructions given by the Managers and the Shift Supervisor.
● Reporting daily in case of any abnormal issue in electricalsystem.
● Coordinate with the shift in charge, power & Desalination operators and the other in
regard to all activities that affect them.
● Unit routine activities as per check list and reading sheet filled as per schedule
● Respond to unit emergencies as per standard procedures
● Supervise critical work progress at site and updated in log book.
● Manage unit equipment Switch over as per safety procedure.

Reviewing all kind of electrical related work permit, cold work, hot work, confined space,
work at height permit, excavation permit, lifting permit, electrical work permit.
● Review all permit attachment as per over procedure as per request.
● Ensuring work request are submitted 24 hours in advance with all supporting document as
per our procedure.
● Loto work permit with job description with mentioned specific area, isolation required
o Or not signature as per over procedure.
● Cold work, hot work, confined space, work at height, lifting, excavation or electrical work
permit.
● JSA, JSP or SWP attached with as per over procedure and as per job nature attached or not
● Tool box talk attendance sheet
● Authorize person list

● Inspection on site g work is carried out as per request with as per safe work procedure or
not.
● Worker are as per authorize person list working and they are trained with over procedure
or not
● Carry our PTW audits on the permits issued.
● Supervising and monitoring all area LOTO guard and their entry exit log sheet and check
list.
● Coordinate permits between construction and commissioning team.
● Maintain the daily permit issued log sheet isolation permit or non-isolation permit new
issue permit, active permit, extend permit and permit close on time.
● Loto work permit isolation point tag and lock has been removed or not
● Monitoring the LOTO guards and sub-contractor work activity on site.
● Maintain lock boxes inside the permit office, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained to
release keys and follow up all taken keys return back.
● Shutting down equipment

activities are being performed
● Lockout points using power distribution panel drawing and legend

● Participate in isolation and de-isolation of plant and equipment and the return to service of

● Where necessary supervise activities to maintain safety

● Responsible of all area permit + loto permit system of all area cold work, hot work,
confined space, work at height, lifting and energization etc. in loto area.
● Act as a system authorized employee (LOTO Controller)
● Review the all kinds of electrical and Instrument work permit
● Review the all kinds of electrical testing and commissioning related work permit
● Apply the lock & tags on 13.8KV 4.16KV, 480 LV, MCC Switchgear, distribution panels,
Lighting panels based on commissioning Initial energizing work permit
● Control the all testing and commissioning Activity base on work permit and apply lock &
tag
● Checking lock and tag to make sure in their right position.
