My degree is in business administration: Digital marketing. My qualifications have prepared me to contribute immediate value to your organization. Proficient in Canva, WordPress, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. 

Here’s a snapshot of what I have to offer:  

I am skilled at business correspondence, general office, and file management. I understand the value of time management and clear communication, and I am great at working with teams to get the project done right. I practice marketing through course projects which helps me to gain marketing skills. For instance, I worked with Sinclair’s Clarion team to increase engagement on their social media. started analyzing all their social media accounts to find opportunities for improvement. Then, I wrote a marketing plan. Finally, I set a timeline and steps
to finish this big project. I analyzed the result of the engagement rate for their social media accounts and compared it with the previous results. The engagement rate had improved by over 30%. 

Along with my classroom and project experience, I bring to the table hands-on knowledge with over 200 hours of an experience in the Marketing Department. I parlayed this experience into a permanent student position once I completed the internship. While at Sinclair’s Clarion newspaper I assisted the social media coordinator by creating engaging posts on social media like creating videos, photographic posts, and taking photos. Also, I created a Marketing plan to increase their social media presence and Email marketing presence. Not only that but also, I worked on WordPress to add new features to their website and update the website.

Digital Marketing Course Project: Campaign Simulation (05/17/2021-08/08/2021) 

Launched, managed, and optimized a digital marketing campaign for a simulated client with a brick-and-mortar store seeking to expand into eCommerce

  • Practiced copywriting skills by creating landing pages on the company’s website and writing keyword-rich meta descriptions for search engine optimization
  • Implemented a paid search campaign for popular products by researching and selecting keywords, writing headlines and description copy, and setting and adjusting bids 
  • Added shopping campaigns to the marketing mix by connecting the business’s inventory to its Google Ads account, selecting products to promote, setting bids, and using negative keywords 
  • Executed email marketing campaigns by choosing appropriate recipient lists, writing subject lines and message copy, and selecting images and landing pages
  • Reviewed performance metrics via reports and dashboards for email marketing, website traffic, and Google pay-per-click (PPC) and shopping ads to identify successes and opportunities for improvement to increase important key performance metrics like clicks and conversions

Implemented and optimized a digital marketing analytics campaign for a simulated client in the eCommerce retail space according to their business goals, target audience, and specific campaign objectives

  • Managed a budget across website expenses, social campaigns, and Google ads; strategically reallocated the funds as needed to improve results tied to key performance indicators like clicks, conversions, order size, and profit
  • Edited website content and conducted multiple sets of A/B tests to determine the best layout, images, button colors, and calls-to-action for the target audience to increase conversion rates
