Summary


Responsible for programme execution of an assigned portfolio of programmes in Saudi Arabia and other programmes as required by the Regional Programme Director.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

As the CAE Arabia Programme Manager, you will have overall responsibility for project execution within your assigned portfolio:


  • Programme Execution:
  • Defining, monitoring and reporting project cost and margin.
  • Adherence to schedule.
  • Coordination and planning of internal and external resources to deliver the project.
  • Ensuring the quality of project deliverables and that performance metrics are met or exceeded.
  • Leadership of the project team to ensure the support, motivation and engagement of team members.
  • Working closely with customers and stakeholders to drive satisfaction and communication.
  • Managing, reporting and escalating issues as necessary
  • Identifying risks and developing and executing the mitigation action plan associated
  • Support to proposal development and initial project planning:
  • Defining cost and price targets for the execution level-of-effort.
  • Supporting the development of a project execution strategy.
  • Provision of PM expertise to the sales team as required.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Support to the local General Manager and Regional Programme Director as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Recognised Programme Management certification (e.g. PmP).
  • Previous experience of programme or project management.
  • Experience in the implementation of projects.
  • Negotiation skills, communication, leadership and persuasiveness.
  • Experience of leading an international crossfunctional team.
Security Responsibilities

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work in a Defense & Security environment
  • Communicate via personal computer, telephone and fax
  • Domestic and occasional international travel as required
