Your Opportunity

The role provides experience and expertise to the management and delivery of Procurement for the KSA business units in the Middle East Division.

The role has accountability for the Procurement function and delivery of performance targets agreed with the management team including in-year and annualised savings target as agreed through the planning process and aligned with the targets for Serco's third-party Procurement Delivery Partner.

This role is part of the Procurement team and will be based in our corporate office in Riyadh.

Key Accountabilities
Regional, primary point of contact for all Procurement requirements, interface point between the business and the Procurement function
Accountable for management and delivery of Procurement in the KSA ensuring that the delivery of business outcomes and performance meets the requirement both KSA and regional Procurement strategy and targets including in-year and annualised savings target as agreed through the planning process and aligned with the targets for Serco's third-party Procurement Delivery Partner
Collaborating with key stakeholders and Procurement colleagues to capture business requirements and support the creation, implementation and management of comprehensive regional category strategies for all procurement categories spend including but not limited to: corporate services, fire & rescue services, FM, manpower (or input to global strategies), and that recognise and support Serco's corporate objectives and local market requirement
Engages and builds strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the KSA business unit and drive change and adoption of Procurement best practices and adherence to the Global processes
Procurement support to bids and transitions ensuring competitive supply chain architecture to support profitable growth
Collaborates with key stakeholders, Procurement colleagues and Serco's third-party Procurement Delivery Partner to ensure that business requirements are understood and supported by Procurement
Optimises value delivery and risk mitigation from the business units supply base
Ensures that benefits are recognised by key stakeholders to allow benefit delivery

Oversees all corporate services including but not limited to: staff accommodation lease renewal process, assets registers, maintenance and insurance.

Specific Requirements
Graduate calibre with minimum Bachelor's degree (Master's Degree preferred)
Post-graduate qualification (e.g., MSc/MBA) - preferred but not essential
CIPS Level 4 Diploma as minimum, MCIPS is desirable but not essential
At least 10 years' experience in Procurement and minimum 3 years' experience in management role
Has the Leadership Behaviour and Capabilities stated as most critical to this role
Ability to 'sell' Procurement
Possesses strong business acumen, able to understand complex business needs and drivers and identify ways for Procurement to address
Will have worked in a complex changing environment with demanding business objectives in a competitive market sector
Demonstrates a consistent track record of delivery within large and complex Procurement organisations
Will have a track record of category management, effecting change, savings delivery and continuous improvement through creation and implementation of innovative category strategies
Demonstrates track record of developing and maintaining strong senior stakeholder relationships up to MD and Board level
