    Job Title: Government Relations Officer (Immigration)

    Location: Saudi Arabia

    Overview:

    Xad Technologies is looking for a Government Relations Officer specializing in immigration affairs, who will play a crucial role in facilitating and maintaining connections with relevant government authorities, particularly in matters related to visas and immigration policies in Saudi Arabia. primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with immigration regulations while streamlining processes for employees' visa applications. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of government protocols, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Liaising with municipality, economic department and any other government departments in relation to Trade License and immigration matters.
    • Keeping abreast with current labor/immigration laws and update the HR staff on any changes.
    • Keep the HR team informed of significant problems that may jeopardize the achievement of company goals.
    • Worked on KSA government systems, QIWA, MUQEEM, etc.
    • Responding to staff enquiries on visa/labor/passport matters.
    • Directs the preparation and maintenance of reports as are necessary to carry out the function of immigration. Prepares periodic reports for management or relevant authorities, as required.
    • Directs the preparation and maintenance with respect to visa documentation related to new starters, leavers, transfers and renewals.
    • Organizes attestation of certificates and legal translation of documents and other activities related to immigration and labor.
    • Oversees the implementation of the immigration & labor responsibilities of the company in Saudi.
    • Provides advice to management on local and government services.
    • Knowledge of opening new companies/branches in KSA.
    • Protect the interest of the company in accordance with governmental authorities, laws and regulation.
    • Coordinate with outside counsel and third-party vendors regarding immigration issues.
    • Communicates with various government agencies for certification of documents and coordinates with third parties on documentation needs.
    • Other duties as requested from time to time
    Requirements:
    • Educated to High school level (as a minimum)
    • 5 7 years local experience liaising with Immigration, Labor department and other government departments for all employee affairs
    • Good knowledge of Saudi labor and immigration rules
    • Good communication skills
    • Good command of English and Arabic both oral and written
    • Computer skills (Microsoft office)
    • Hands on experience on visa and immigration softwares/portals used in the KSA.
    • Knowledge about Visit Visa, Iqama, Work Visit Visa, Temporary Work Visa, Business Visa etc.
