Senior QAQC Engineer - MEP

T1.


Role Objective:


To identify the Project Quality Goals and Objectives and drive the execution of the action plans to achieve them; To develop a quality oriented culture at the Project.

To assist in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System including internal/external surveillance/certification and audits.

To define, Document and publicize Amana Quality Policy so that it is understood and well-practiced at all levels within the business unit.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:


STRATEGIC
1) Establishes, develops and improves a well-structured project quality system to enhance the efficiency and quality of the output among company personnel, leading to higher quality standards and client satisfaction.

OPERATIONAL
1) Reviews the project's quality documents to ensure their compliance with the contract's requirements and best practices.
2) Ensures that the quality control Inspections on site activities are conducted and tests for received materials are properly managed by the QA/QC team in compliance with the project control plans and contract documents.
3) Prepares the Project's quality management system documents such as; method
statements, ITP's (inspection and testing plans) etc., and reviews the material and

technical submittals to ensure their compliance with the contract's requirements and best practices, and follow up with the consultant/client to obtain their approvals.

4) Inspects major subcontractors' materials, equipment and workmanship which are
manufactured, fabricated or assembled in or out side job site.
5) Assures that all non-conformances are closed in a timely manner and helps the QA/QC team in analyzing their root causes, corrective and preventive actions.

6) Conducts internal quality meetings with the QA/QC team to ensure quality considerations are well integrated into the work plans.
7) Participates in quality meetings with Consultants and Clients to fulfill the quality
requirements of the project.
8) Checks and assures that the project weekly / monthly reports prepared by QA/QC team are correct and accurate and provides branch level report to B.U management.
9) Supervises checks and reviews the tender/ project quality plan for submissions.
10) Coordinates with the external certification bodies for the certification and surveillance audit of the business unit.

11) Checks and assures the quality assurance report prepared by office QA team includes the key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluates the effectiveness of the current processes and opportunities to enhance them taking into account all previous lessons learned.

12) Facilitates any processes revisions required and keeps the related documents tracked, controlled and assure their distribution to related personnel.
13) Identifies training needs for project's staff and propose a training plan in line with their supervisors/line managers and arrange for the required training.
14) Assures that all project's records are identifiable, retrievable and secured against
deterioration or loss.
15) Responsible for effective closeout of the project/contract by properly managing a team of QA/QC engineers/officers and document controllers in line with the project requirements

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor in Engineering (Architecture, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical)


Years of Experience:

Minimum of 8 years


Behavioral Skills:


Ability to influence at all levels in a multi-cultural environment - Strong communication skills Self driven individual - Strategic Planning - Customer Service - Quality - Conflict Management

Technical Skills:

Computer Skills, Analytical Skill, Strong command of the English language. Arabic would be an added advantage.


Pay:
ریال50, ریال55,000.00 per year
