S- erve as the PM's Senior Representative in all matters related to the management of the construction of the infrastructure works. P
- articipate in the preconstruction activities of the infrastructure works such as tendering and prequalification process. M
- anage and administer the infrastructure activities of contractors through the Infrastructure Engineer, including general direction and coordination of all independent contractors on the site. O
- versee the performance of the supervision consultants, ensuring that quality control procedures and requirements are being implemented. C
- oordinate the works of all site infrastructure activities with the client, contractor, and consultants. E
- stablish, manage, and refine the administrative and operational procedures for the project in the field and monitor the Project Execution Plan. M
- onitor the contractor's field progress of the infrastructure works through actual logging of daily work by the Infrastructure Engineer. A
- ssist the PCS and QS teams in the finalization of the contractor's claims. P
- reside at weekly reviews, and monthly, and other progress meetings held at the site. Review the contractor's progress. Help resolve deficiencies to achieve milestones. R
- eview and certify contractor's monthly payments, assist & liaison with another department in finalizing all issues related to infrastructure work (IT technical evaluation, claim, etc.) C
- ontribute relevant data to the PM monthly report and special reports as necessary. E
- nforce the provisions of the contract documents for accuracy and adequacy prior to submission to the client. P
- articipate in the technical evaluation of claims. Prepare recommendations concerning their resolution.
B
- achelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent. A
- postgraduate degree in Engineering or an MBA will be considered a plus. - 5 years of experience and a min. of 5 years of working experience in similar roles within a PMC. P
- MP, PMI, CIOB, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred. S
- roven experience in building and leading high-performing teams. C
- xcellent command of written and spoken English & Arabic. #
