    Growingtraditional consulting firm looking to add a talented LeadElectrical Engineer to their Des Moines, Iowaoffice

    Responsibilities:
    • Designthe building and internal process structures for water/waste watertreatmentfacilities
    • Useprofessional judgment to direct and complete assigned engineeringdesigns
    • AssistsProject Manager, or acts as project manager, and assigns tasks andschedules to other staff members, answers questions and monitorsstaff progress
    • Checksthe accuracy (formal and informal QA/QC) of assigned taskscompleted by other engineering and technicalstaff
    • Identifiestechnical, schedule or financial issues and seeks resolution fromthe Project Manager and/or the client, as appropriate to thesituation
    • Recommendsand prepares changeorders
    • Assistswith preparation of engineering services proposals, including thecalculation/estimation of time schedules and costs of the proposedwork
    • Communicatestechnical matters to clients independently
    • Actsas technical expert on assigned projects and acts as ProjectManager on smaller scope or specialty projects as assigned
    Requirements:
    • B.S.inEngineering
    • Masters degreepreferred
    • 6+years of Electrical Engineeringexperience
    • 4+years of design/engineering experience in electrical systems forbuildings
    • P.E.certification or ability to obtain within six months ofemployment
    • Proficientin MicrosoftOffice
    • Workingknowledge AutoCAD, Civil3D and/or Revit (or similar) draftingsystems

    Successfulapplicant must be authorized to work in the USA withoutsponsorship.
