Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the planning and implementation of project work, from conception to completion, with a clear focus on achieving project objectives and business goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects including budgeting, cost tracking, and invoicing, ensuring profitability and managing financial objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation, including the management of subcontractors and consultants.
  • Manage changes to project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks and develop strategies to counteract potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and all stakeholders, including regular communication and consultation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
  • Proven working experience (10+ years) as a Project Manager in the oil and energy sector.
  • Solid technical background, with understanding and handson experience in the oil, gas, and energy industry.
  • Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing technical teams and contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the management of project activities.
