- Should have previous experienceand direct exposure to rig drilling equipment which includes butnot limited to: Drawworks, Top Drive System, Rotary Tables andTransmission, Crown block, Traveling block, Pneumatic and/orhydraulic winches, Pneumatic and/or hydraulic BOP hoists, IronRoughneck, CATheads, Mud pumps, High pressure units (HPU), Mast andSub-base Raising cylinders, engines, air compressors and airdryers, Solid Control Equipment, Air breathingsystem.
- Chief Mechanic is responsible of propermaintenance for all mechanical rig equipment as per ADC MSP(Maintenance Standard Procedures).
- Carry thePreventive Maintenance on all mechanical equipment calendar andhours meter basis as per MSP and OEM standards, fixing the reportsin SAP system.
- Carry the corrective Maintenanceon all mechanical equipment in case a premature failure occurs inthe rig equipment, fixing the reports in SAP system and explainingthe root cause of failures and how to eliminate such failures andprevent similar failures fromreoccurrence.
