KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Develop, implement, and monitor sustainability KPIs/Scorecard
  • Organizing all activities/initiatives in DP World KSA, and handle stakeholder engagement.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives around the Our World Our Future focus areas.
  • Ensure effective communication and management methods are in place to communicate Community activities in coordination with the Regional Communication.
  • Overseeing business unit input to the community system (for Regional S&I champions)
  • Work closely with Business Management, People Department, HSE, Procurement, Commercial and other relevant functions for the business priorities areas defined in the Global Sustainability Strategy.
  • Attend sustainability Champion Network calls, and act as business unit sustainability focal point.
  • Share best practices with BU's, departments, regions, and the global sustainability team.
  • Communicate and inspire DP World KSA employees to get involved in sustainability through activities, meetings, seminars etc.
  • Recognize and celebrate good initiatives, practices, and engagement.
  • Represent DP World KSA externally at sustainability events, and Input data to the community system
  • Liaise with regional Communication to develop sustainability marketing material, for example, posters, fact sheets, videos.
  • Develop appropriate monitoring processes to report progress against the sustainability plan.
  • Implement global sustainability & impact approach and business priorities in collaboration with other key areas within the company.
  • Coordinate, and deliver flagship sustainability programmes in the region eg. Global Volunteer Week, D&I Month.
  • Coordinate with HSE, Engineering to align, support and implement Sustainability activities and strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**:


  • Bachelor's degree In Politics and International Relation, Environment Science, Sociology, Sustainability, Economics, Business Management, HR Or Business Admin. Or any relevant field
  • Knowledge of corporate sustainability.
  • Interests in SDG Sustainable Development Goals.
  • Advance in English and Arabic language.
  • Advance analytical skills
  • Conflict management and problem solving.
  • Influencing leadership and change management.
  • Stakeholder engagement dialogue (including grievances)
  • Policy compliance to align with global policies, risk management and governance
  • Strategy development and implementation for sustainability at the business unit level
  • Strategic communication and collaborative working
  • Measurement and reporting Coordination and management skills
