The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing the procurement process of goods and services for the company.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives
  • Identify potential suppliers and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
  • Conduct market research and analysis to source the best quality products and services at competitive prices
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and prices with suppliers
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate procurement records and documentation
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

  • Oil & Gas industry

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a procurement officer or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • Professional certification in procurement is a plus
