What we are looking for


We are looking for an experienced Finance Leader for an interim role with our customer in the Medical laboratories field.


In preparation for an IPO this established company with love 60 medical laboratories across the kingdom requires leadership and execution in the buildout of a best-in-class, public-company-ready, finance function.

You will have primary responsibility for enhancing planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.

This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

You will be working closely with the Group CFO, CEO and other leaders within the company.

Communication and relationship building skills will be of key importance to successfully collaborating with high calibre external counsel, consultants and auditors approved by the Capital Markets Authority.


Profile

  • 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in healthcare or similar sector
  • Track record of highscale due diligence or IPO success.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and resultsorientation
  • A handson manager with strong desire to work in a dynamic, missiondriven environment
  • Highly representative with a proven ability to deliver strategic value
  • A strong 'people person' with a natural ability to build and lead relationships
  • A team player who thrives on building and working in a highperformance team
  • Work experience in Saudi Arabia is integral

Responsibilities
Transfomation

  • Establish a public companyready FP&A calendar and cadence, balancing immediate, shortterm IPO milestones with steadystate finance function design.
  • Oversee IFRS conversion of the financials from GAAP.
Planning

  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Develop financial, tax and IP strategies
  • Develop and manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop performance measures, analysis and monitoring systems that support the group's strategic direction
Operations

  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
  • Oversee the financial operations of group entities
  • Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced
  • Oversee the group's transaction processing systems
  • Implement operational best practices to prevent any misuse/fraud/issues and incorporate higher efficiency in working capital management
Financial Information

  • Oversee the financial reporting and set best practices
  • Personally review and approve all prudential and other reporting to regulators
  • Report financial results to the board of directors
Risk Management

  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
  • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  • Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and implement their recommendations
Investments Work

  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Support and lead debt financing and equity financing
  • Lead the team for inorganic growth opportunities
Third Parties

  • Represent the group with investors
  • Build and deepen banking relationships

Location

  • Saudi Arabia
  • Preferably a hybrid work model (Office and WFH).

- tack record of high scale due diligence or IPO readiness: 3 years (required)
